Description

BLDC Stamping (Brushless DC Motor Lamination)

A BLDC stamping is the precision electrical lamination that forms the stator and rotor core of a brushless DC (BLDC) motor. Because BLDC motors run at high efficiency and high speed — in EV hub motors, e-rickshaw drives, ceiling and BLDC fans, drone motors and pumps — the core laminations must be blanked to fine tolerances with clean, low-burr slots that reduce eddy-current and iron losses. That is precisely the standard Shree Balaji Electrical & Stamping builds every BLDC stamping to.

What makes a good BLDC lamination

Slot geometry, tooth width and stack accuracy directly control the torque, cogging and efficiency of a brushless motor. We press BLDC stampings from electrical-grade CRCA steel on high-speed presses, then stack them so the slots stay perfectly aligned. The result is a rigid, low-loss core that helps your BLDC motor deliver more torque per watt and run cooler.

Applications

  • E-rickshaw and EV hub / BLDC drive motors
  • BLDC ceiling fans and exhaust fans
  • BLDC pumps and blowers
  • Battery-powered tools and appliances

Custom BLDC stampings to your drawing

With in-house tooling and two decades of stamping experience in Faridabad, we develop new BLDC stator/rotor dies to your slot design and supply both loose laminations and interlocked stacks. Every batch is ISO 9001 quality checked for slot accuracy, burr height and thickness.

Frequently asked questions

What is a BLDC stamping?

A BLDC (Brushless DC motor) stamping is a precision-punched CRCA lamination that forms the stator or rotor core of a brushless DC motor. Because BLDC motors run at higher frequencies than AC induction motors, the stampings need thinner steel and tighter tolerances to minimise eddy-current losses.

Where are BLDC stampings used?

EV traction motors, e-rickshaw drives, ceiling fans (BLDC), pump motors, washing machines, HVAC fans, drones and industrial servo drives.

Do you supply BLDC stampings for EV motor manufacturers?

Yes — we regularly supply e-rickshaw and light EV motor makers with custom slot-geometry BLDC stampings. Volume-tier pricing available.

What’s the difference between BLDC stamping and AC induction stamping?

BLDC stampings typically use thinner steel (0.35 mm vs 0.5 mm) with tighter geometry tolerances, more pole/slot combinations, and higher-grade CRCA material to handle higher switching frequencies.
